Supply chain
Our collaborative approach doesn’t end with our clients and colleagues. We work closely with our supply chain. Building relationships on capability, trust and shared values.
As a large multi-disciplined team, we only outsource specialist skills when needed.
We have robust standards and a rigorous analysis system, categorising subcontractors based on their relevance, financial security, safety, and environmental performance. Helping us to maintain a strong supply chain that’s capable of adding value to all our projects.
We emphasise working with local suppliers where we can. Approximately 70% of our supply chain partners are SMEs, ensuring that investments return to the local economy and helping to create local employment opportunities. We encouraged our partners to recruit locally, reducing travel emissions and building stronger community relationships. We also monitor supplier sustainability goals, encouraging them to use electric and eco-friendly equipment where possible, supporting our commitment to low-carbon project delivery.
We also provide training and development at our CITB-accredited training centre, helping to raise supply chain standards, and ensuring that everyone is prepared to meet stringent safety, quality, and environmental criteria on-site for complex projects. We also use off-site practices, such as prefabrication, to reduce on-site waste and increase efficiency. This includes collaboration with subcontractors to identify and employ off-site manufacturing where possible, resulting in streamlined timelines and reduced environmental impact.
