Our Special Projects team has been delivering smaller and more specialised works since 1992. Allowing us to offer the expertise and resources of a large contractor while maintaining a personal approach.
These projects range from £50,000 to £3M, with the team consistently generating over £25M annually.
Being part of the SDC group means the same high standards of safety, quality, and project management. Along with access to in-house Mechanical & Electrical and Design teams whenever needed. The team’s reputation is built on strong, long-term relationships with both private and public sector clients. Priding themselves on understanding the needs of our clients and making spaces that work for people.
A lot of our projects take place in live environments, and we’ve gained extensive experience in minimizing disruptions, keeping operations running smoothly. We’ve successfully delivered projects across various sectors, including education, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and more.
Our leadership team includes Gary Wykes (Board Director) and Graham Staughton (Special Projects Manager), who together bring over 70 years of experience at SDC. The team is rounded out by skilled Contracts and Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and expert tradespeople like bricklayers and carpenters, who work closely to ensure every project is a success.
